Your media needs to be optimized for availability on the Internet. Preferred formats are MP3 for audio and FLV for video. Using these standards will ensure your site visitors are able to view and listen to your media files without the need for additional download or client software.
Even if your media compilation is already in these formats it may be beneficial to run them through the converter to ensure they are optimized for playing on the Internet

When adding Media to the A/V media page use MP3 & FLV formats.
If it is an audio file specify MP3. If it is video, specify Flash. If you are placing your video file on our A/V Media page type then select FLV. If you are uploading the file into your managed files for placement on a different page using the page Content Editor you may also use SWF.
